This piece is purely painted with Coffee grounds on a cold press 140lbs paper. I use dark roasted instant coffee diluted with water. I let the mixture sat overnight until it is very thick. First I will do my sketch, then I layer the medium using a watercolor brush and finish it up with a fixative to prevent smudges. The result was beautiful! The warm tone of the Coffee grounds give this painting a sense of uniqueness. It has a Sepia-kind of look in it.. This is a unique piece for your home, office or a present to your loved ones.
